Aiop Giovani organizes a training course from 26 to 27 January 2012 entitled Accountability, Research, Continuous Training – New Challenges for Private Healthcare in the Age of Clinical Governance.

 

The approach of the system to Clinical Governance – emphasized by the 2011 – 2013 National Healthcare Plan – poses new challenges to public and private organizations: to acquire new methodological tools (assistance pathways, clinical audit, risk management, technology assessment, etc.) to be used in an integrated manner, to render research and continuous training activities transversal tools of clinical governance, to prepare a multi-level system of indicators (security, efficacy, appropriateness, efficiency, equity, user involvement) like measures of accountability and openness.

These topics will be introduced by Dr.Nino Cartabellotta, an expert who has dealt with these topics on Il Sole 24 Ore several times, and promoted by Fondazione GIMBE (www.gimbe.org) of which he is the Chairman.

A two-day training session hold for the Members of the Aiop Youth Group, in a Holiday Farm in Umbria the 8^th and 9^th July.
Theme of the event: "Conflict communication, negotiation and management," to be delivered by Paolo Vergnani, lecturer in Sociology and Mass Communications at the University of Ferrara, where he covers the role of Scientific Director for the improvement of crisis and conflict management. He has participated in conflict management panels in different countries such as: Brazil, Bosnia, Angola, the former URSS and Iraq.

The training is aimed at acquiring the skills and competencies for the management of complex interlocutors.
