Il 31 gennaio 2012, d'accordo con la ditta Airone, partner Aiop Giovani nell'operazione, ha termine il progetto che ha consentito ad Aiop Giovani di portare un'autoambulanza 4x4 alla popolazione di Christchurch della Nuova Zelanda, colpita dal terremoto del febbraio 2011.

A partire dal febbraio 2012 potranno essere acquistate felpe Aiop Giovani non più legate all'operazione "for New Zealand".

Le sezioni umbre di AIOP e dell'ANMDO hanno promosso un Convegno, patrocinato da AIOP Giovani, per il 21 gennaio prossimo a Torgiana (PG) dal titolo: SINERGIE PIÙ AVANZATE TRA SISTEMA SANITARIO PUBBLICO E PRIVATO PER UNA SANITÀ PIÙ EFFICIENTE.

Il 19 gennaio scorso L'Ambasciatore della Nuova Zelanda in Italia ha incontrato a cena una delegazione Aiop Giovani.

Il Coordinatore Nazionale Aiop Giovani, dr.Averardo Orta, a Bruxelles per promuovere il progetto Label dell'UEHP.

Il dr.Carlo Stefenelli, Presidente provinciale AIOP Trento, ha organizzato per il prossimo 27 dicembre, una cena a Cognola di Trento con lo scopo di porre le basi per costituire anche in Trentino una "sezione giovani" della Associazione Italiana dell'Ospedalità Privata. Sarà l'occasione anche per conoscersi e per scambiarsi gli auguri per un buon 2012.

Il Coordinatore Nazionale Aiop Giovani, dr.Averardo Orta, al ricevimento dell'Ambasciatore del Giappone a Roma.

AIOP Giovani ha incontrato l'Ambasciatore di Cuba a Roma, S.E. Sig.ra Milagros Carina Soto Aguero, per avviare una collaborazione che consentirà ai medici specialisti cubani di operare nelle strutture private Aiop.

L’Aiop, in collaborazione con Ermeneia, al fine di rendere un servizio al Paese, presenta alle istituzioni, agli operatori e agli studiosi del settore il Rapporto annuale sull’attività svolta dagli ospedali pubblici e privati in Italia.
Lo studio si sofferma dettagliatamente sull’entità e la qualificazione dei servizi sanitari, sull’evoluzione del settore, sui costi, sulle difficoltà di accesso e sulla qualità percepita dai cittadini.

The second edition of ISH - Information Security Hospital, the exhibition-conference which analyses in depth the theme of ICT solutions employed on security of healthcare data treatment supported by AIOP Giovani, will be held in Rome on 30 November.

The National Coordinator of Aiop Giovani, Dr. Averardo Orta, was invited in The Hague (Holland) to prepare the 8° Study Tour AG.

Il 10 settembre dalle ore 9.00 alle ore 13.00 AIOP Giovani parteciperà al network degli ex diplomanti del Master in Management per la Sanità (MiMS) della SDA Bocconi per un confronto sulle prospettive di sviluppo della sanità privata e dei suoi nuovi fabbisogni manageriali.

On 19 July, a committee AIOP Giovani composed of dr.Averardo Orta, National Coordinator, prof.Fabio Miraglia, National V/Coordinator, and dr.Filippo Leonardi, was received by the Adviser Atsushi Takahashi and by the Secretary Satoko Masutani Koike, of the Embassy of Japan in Italy.

AIOP Giovani Sicilia, which is run by Adv. Maria Grazia Torina and dr. Domenico Musumeci, in collaboration with Confindustria Young Entrepreneurs, has organised the 1st National Meeting in Taormina on 1 and 2 July 2011 entitled "Giovani imprenditori in giovane Italia - La leadership dei giovani, le sfide di oggi, gli scenari del futuro" (Young Entrepreneurs in Young Italy – The Youth Leadership, Today’s Challenges, Future Scenarios).
All Members of Aiop Giovani are invited to take part in the meeting, which various Members of AIOP at national level will attend. The discussion about the generational transition to be held on the second day renders the meeting interesting also for the Senior Members who would like to participate.

Con il patrocinio della sezione Aiop Giovani Sicilia, è stato organizzata una due giorni di formazione, presso l'Istituto Oncologico del Mediterraneo (Viagrande CT), su Aggiornamento del sistema DRG e valutazione dell'appropriatezza organizzativa dell'attività ospedaliera: strumenti, criticità, prospettive.

On May 17 Confindustria Firenze in collaboration with AIOP and the National Academy of Medicine will organise a meeting on institutional accreditation of health services. The workshop, whose preliminary title is “private health structures providing public interest services. Accreditation, health promotion, economic development”, will be held in Florence and will be the occasion for an exchange among our representatives coming from different local situations. The conference will also present the situations of three different Regions, and will have the participation of institutional representatives as well as professional representatives.

AIOP Giovani will take with dr.Averardo Orta. With him, dr.Emmanuel Miraglia, prof.Gabriele Pelissero and dr.Maurizio De Scalzi.

The conference for the presentation of the results of the research carried out by the Observatory on ICT in the Italian health sector is promoted by the School of Management, with the contribution of the ICT institute of the Politecnico of Milan and in collaboration with Senaf/Esposanità. AIOP Giovani has taken part in this research.

On 28 April, a delegation of Aiop Giovani composed of Mr. Averardo Orta, National Coordinator, prof. Fabio Miraglia, Vice Coordinatore, and Mr. Domenico Musumeci, President AG Sicily, was received by the new Ambassador of New Zealand Mr. Trevor Matheson, at the New Zealand Embassy in Rome.

It will be held in Brussels the 7^th  World Congress of Health.
AIOP Young, who will sponsor the Congress, will participate through his v/Coordinator prof.Fabio Miraglia and the member Paul Rotelli AIOP Young of Lombardy.

It will partecipate V/Chairman AIOP prof.Gabriele Pelissero.

For the 8th year running, the Report on "Hospitals & Health" has played a key role in examining issues concerning healthcare institutions. Hospital activity deserves significant attention as it gives rise to a series of flows. Twelve million citizens are hospitalised on average every year into various healthcare institutions (public, private accredited or otherwise); 634 thousand workers offer their expertise on a daily basis and enormous financial resources are allocated to this sector (51 billion euros of public expenditure to which private expenses should be added).

On 28^th May during the AG National Council in Rome, Dr. Averardo Orta was unanimously reappointed National Coordinator. Along with his reconfirmation, election was also held for the Vice/coordinators, Dr. Renato Cerioli for the Northern Area, Prof. Fabio Miraglia for the Central Area and Dr. Simone Improta for the Southern Area.
