- AIOP mission
AIOP Giovani was formed in 2003 by Emmanuel Miraglia the then National President, and sanctioned by the Association's new Statute. The aim was to create a discussion forum and learning culture for young private healthcare business people who also may be working within AIOP in the future.
The association consists of the heads of institutions belonging to AIOP, or their children provided that they are aged less than 40. Today the association comprises 11 regional divisions: Lombardia, Veneto, Emilia Romagna, Toscana, Umbria, Marche, Lazio, Campania, Puglia, Calabria and Sicilia.
The National Coordinator is Averado Orta, assisted by three vice-coordinators for the three geographical areas: Renato Cerioli (North), Fabio Miraglia (Centre), Simone Improta (South).
So far Aiop Giovani activities have featured: Ethics and social balance in business (Bilancio sociale ed etica d’impresa - 2004); The centrality of Man in healthcare (La centralità dell’Uomo nell’assistenza sanitaria - 2005); Health technology evaluation in private hospitals (L’Health Technology Assessment nella prospettiva dell’ospedalità privata - 2006); Conduct analysis in Italian hospitals (Analisi dei comportamenti nell’offerta ospedaliera italiana - 2007); Management models for healthcare in the future (Modelli organizzativi per la sanità del futuro -2008); I Piani di rientro in Italia: analisi e comparazione (2009); Healthcare of the future: Individual rights versus collective interests (2010); Healthcare of the future: e-Health challenge (2011).
